  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Filling: Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add apples, sugar, and cinnamon; cook until softened (4-5 minutes). Mix cornstarch with water, stir into apples, and cook until thickened (1-2 minutes). Let cool slightly.
  2. Preheat Oven: Set oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Prepare Dough: Separate biscuit dough into individual pieces and flatten each to about 1/4-inch thickness.
  4. Assemble Bombs: Spoon filling into the center of each biscuit. Fold edges over filling and pinch to seal tightly.
  5. Coat: Dip each bomb in melted butter then roll in a mixture of sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Bake: Place seam-side down on the baking sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve Warm: Allow to cool slightly before serving.
