  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • â…“ cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 1 small onion, finely diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese (divided)
  • 1 (28 oz) bag frozen tater tots
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, black pepper, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese until well combined.
  3. Spread the meat mixture evenly in the greased baking dish; press down slightly.
  4. Arrange the tater tots over the meat mixture in a single layer.
  5. Bake uncovered for 35–40 minutes until meat is cooked through and tater tots are golden brown.
  6. Sprinkle remaining cheddar cheese over the tater tots and bake for an additional 5–7 minutes until melted.
