  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the rigatoni in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve some pasta water before draining.
  2. In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the diced onion in olive oil until softened. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet, breaking it apart as it cooks until browned. Drain any excess grease.
  4. Stir in tomato paste, Italian seasoning, and red pepper flakes (if using). Cook for a few minutes to deepen flavors.
  5. Pour in beef broth and heavy cream, stirring well. Simmer for 5–7 minutes until thickened.
  6. Gradually mix in Parmesan cheese until melted, then add mozzarella cheese.
  7. Combine cooked rigatoni with the sauce until well-coated. Adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
