  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • 2 cans (8 oz each) Pillsbury crescent rolls
  • 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
  • 23 cups shredded cheddar cheese or Mexican blend
  • ½ cup chopped tomatoes
  • ¼ cup sliced black olives
  • 4 chopped green onions

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a skillet over medium-high heat for about 7-10 minutes; drain excess fat.
  3. Add taco seasoning and water to the beef, simmer until most liquid evaporates.
  4. Unroll crescent rolls into rectangles and press into an 11.5×16.5 inch jelly roll pan.
  5. Bake crust for 11-13 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Heat refried beans in the microwave for one minute; spread over baked crust.
  7. Spoon seasoned beef evenly over beans.
  8. Sprinkle cheese on top followed by fresh toppings: tomatoes, olives, and green onions.
  9. Bake for an additional 3-6 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
  10. Cool slightly before slicing into squares or rectangles.
