Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken thighs
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 pita breads
  • 1 cup cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 1 cucumber, diced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/2 cup feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper in a bowl. Add chicken thighs and let marinate for at least 30 minutes.
  2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Cook marinated chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through (165°F internal temperature).
  3. For the tzatziki sauce, combine Greek yogurt, feta cheese, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and pepper in a separate bowl. Mix until smooth.
  4. Slice cooked chicken into strips. Spread tzatziki on each pita bread and layer with chicken strips, cherry tomatoes, cucumber, and red onion. Roll up tightly and serve.
