  • 1/4 cup candy canes (crushed into small pieces, plus more for topping)

  3. Combine flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually stir into wet mixture.
  4. Fold in dark chocolate chips and crushed candy canes until evenly mixed.
  5. Scoop tablespoon-sized balls onto a parchment-lined baking sheet; freeze for 3-4 hours.
  6. Preheat oven to 350°F (180°C); bake frozen cookies for 9-10 minutes until slightly underbaked.
