  • 1/4 teaspoon fine sea salt

  • 1/4 cup (50 grams) packed light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/8 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (188 grams) powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon milk (plus more if needed)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together unsalted butter and light brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in the egg and vanilla extract, followed by pumpkin puree.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together flour, spices, baking soda, and salt. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish and smooth the top. Bake for about 25 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
