  • 12 oz crumbled goat cheese, at room temperature
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt
  • 4 tbsp honey, split
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 large shallots, thinly sliced
  • 12 medjool dates, pitted and roughly chopped
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Toasted bread or crackers for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Cook turkey bacon in a skillet until crispy, about 25 minutes.
  2. In a food processor, blend goat cheese, Greek yogurt, 2 tablespoons honey, olive oil, water, salt, and black pepper until smooth. Spoon onto a serving plate.
  3. In the skillet with bacon drippings (if using), fry rosemary until crispy.
  4. Sauté shallots until caramelized; add dates and vinegar along with remaining honey. Simmer for about 1 minute.
  5. Pour date mixture over whipped goat cheese and top with crumbled turkey bacon and fried rosemary. Drizzle with olive oil.
